First mass protest against SIR in Bidar on May 30

Speaking at a press conference held in Bidar city today, leaders of the secular parties and progressive organizations in the district said that the Election Commission has removed more than four crore voters from the voter list in fifteen states of the country due to the unconstitutional and unscientific SIR revision in the country. The Election Commission has been working on SIR in Karnataka on June 15th and has prevented them from voting. The first mass protest of the secular parties and progressive organizations in Bidar district will be held simultaneously in all the districts of the state on the 30th of this month. Since this protest will be held simultaneously in all the districts of the state, we will appeal through this press conference to make the protest a success by involving more people in the district, said Mannan Sait, the leader of the group.
