Meghalaya Officials Participate in Drug Abuse Awareness Program

Pahamsyiem, Nongpoh: Officers and staff from the district took part in an Awareness Programme on Drug Abuse organized by the Chinchona Sports Club. The event aimed to educate the community on the dangers of drug use under the theme 'Life is Precious — Don’t Waste it on Drugs'.

Key figures including Prestone Tynsong, Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Meghalaya, Meghalaya Police, and the DIGP of Eastern Range, Meghalaya contributed as resource persons, sharing valuable insights to raise awareness and prevent drug abuse in the region.
