Breakfast Diplomacy in Sadashivanagar Spurs Political Buzz
Bengaluru: Political activity intensified in Sadashivanagar on Tuesday morning as police barricaded and closed the road in front of Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar’s residence. The move came ahead of a special breakfast hosted by the DCM for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
According to sources, CM Siddaramaiah is scheduled to leave his Cauvery residence in the morning and arrive at D.K. Shivakumar’s house. Meanwhile, a separate breakfast arrangement has been made at the residence of DK Suresh for the MLAs accompanying the Chief Minister.
This event follows last Saturday’s breakfast at the CM’s Cauvery residence, where the Chief Minister hosted the DCM. In response, Shivakumar had invited the CM for a return breakfast, adding to the growing political curiosity.
To honor the CM’s preference for native chicken, a special menu has been prepared. It includes idli with native chicken soup and native chicken fry. The chicken being served has been specially brought from Kanakapura and raised at D.K. Shivakumar’s government residence.
The breakfast meeting—coming amid heightened political chatter—has naturally drawn public and media attention.
