Cyclone Ditwah | Rain in many districts including Bangalore today – 3 more days of bitter cold!

Bengaluru: The impact of Cyclone Ditwah has pushed Bengaluru into an unusually cold spell, with the city experiencing cloudy skies throughout the day for the last two days. The chilly weather continued today as well, accompanied by sporadic drizzle in several areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is expected in parts of Bengaluru and several other districts as the cyclone’s influence persists. The department has also warned of a noticeable drop in daytime maximum temperatures.
Light showers are likely in the southern interior and coastal districts, while moderate rains have been forecast in Bellary, Chitradurga, Davangere, Tumkur, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Bengaluru Rural and Urban, Ramanagara, Mandya, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Kodagu, Hassan, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.
The cold conditions are expected to continue for the next three days. In Bengaluru, the maximum temperature is projected to hover around 22°C, while the minimum temperature may dip to 18°C, the Meteorological Department said.
