PM degree: HC asks DU to file reply on pleas to condone delay in filing appeals

NEW DELHI: (Nov 11) The Delhi High Court on Wednesday asked the Delhi University to reply to pleas seeking condonation of delay in filing appeals challenging an order relating to disclosure of details of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's bachelor's degree.

A bench of Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela granted three weeks to the varsity to file its objection to the pleas.

The bench was informed that there was a delay in filing the appeals challenging the single judge's August order.
