8 minors drown in ponds during 'Jivitputrika' festival in Bihar

In a tragic incident in Bihar's Aurangabad district, eight minors drowned in ponds during the 'Jivitputrika' festival. Four children drowned in each of two ponds in Kushaha and Itahat villages. The victims, mostly girls aged 8 to 18, were taking a holy bath for their families' well-being when the accidents occurred. Authorities declared them dead at hospitals.
