Hyundai plans new mid-size SUV to expand offerings

Hyundai is set to expand its mid-size SUV lineup with a new model that will sit between the Alcazar and Tucson. Codenamed Ni1i, the SUV is expected to be manufactured at Hyundai's Talegaon plant in Pune within the next two to three years. The Korean automaker is investing approximately ₹6,000 crore to upgrade the facility.
