K'taka withdraws consent to CBI to probe cases amid MUDA row

Karnataka Cabinet on Thursday withdrew consent for any probe by CBI in the state. Calling the CBI "biased", Karnataka Law Minister HK Patil said, "We are expressing our concerns about the misuse of the CBI." This comes after the Karnataka High Court on Tuesday dismissed a petition filed by CM Siddaramaiah challenging CBI investigation against him in MUDA scam case.
