South Africa's 33-year-old opener Tazmin Brits revealed her mother has been diagnosed with breast cancer ahead of Women's T20 World Cup 2024. "Struggle never ends. But now I know how to handle it. My mom's pretty tough," Brits said. "If you stand still, the world will swallow you in," she added. Brits lost her father to COVID-19 in March 2021.
