Banks will remain closed for 15 days in October 2024

According to RBI, banks are going to have 15 days off out of 31 days in October. Apart from Saturday and Sunday holidays, it also includes holidays for different festivals. Banks will also remain closed on different days due to Gandhi Jayanti, Durga Puja, Dussehra, Lakshmi Puja, Kati Bihu and Diwali.
