VI awards 30,000 cr 4G, 5G equipment contracts to Nokia, Ericsson

Debt-laden Vodafone Idea has signed contracts worth ₹30,000 crore with Nokia, Ericsson, and Samsung for 4G and 5G network equipment over three years. This is the largest deal by any Indian telecom operator this year. The contracts kickstart the company's three-year capex plan of *55,000 crore (USD 6.6 billion) announced earlier.
