Putin issues nuclear warning to the West over Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the West that Russia could use nuclear weapons if it was struck with conventional missiles. Putin announced an attack against his country by a nonnuclear power with the "participation or support of a nuclear power" will be seen as their "joint attack on Russian Federation". The current doctrine was set out by Putin in 2020.
