पुलिस के अनुसार आरोपी ने बेंगलुरु के प्रतिष्ठित अस्पतालों की फर्जी वेबसाइट बनाई और किडनी डोनर और प्राप्तकर्ता दोनों को निशाना बनाया
गिरफ्तार किए गए लोगों की पहचान मिमी उर्फ मिरेकल कोवा कॉलिन्स और घाना से मैथ्यू इनोसेंट के रूप में हुई है
आरोपी व्यक्तियों ने बेंगलुरु के सागर अस्पताल की एक फर्जी
वेबसाइट बनाई थी और किडनी डोनर या प्राप्तकर्ता के लिए शिकार पकड़ रहे थे
अस्पताल के अधिकारियों ने इस संबंध में एचएसआर लेआउट के साइबर इकोनॉमिक एंड नारकोटिक्स क्राइम (सीईएन) पुलिस स्टेशन में शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी
जांच करने वाले अधिकारियों ने आरोपी को अमृतल्ली इलाके के एक अपार्टमेंट से गिरफ्तार किया
आरोपी ने दानदाताओं के लिए प्रति किडनी 4 करोड़ रुपये की पेशकश की और रजिस्ट्रेशन शुल्क के रूप में लाखों रुपये लिए
उन्होंने विभिन्न अन्य प्रक्रियाओं के लिए भी पैसे लिए और पीड़ितों के साथ व्हाट्सएप के माध्यम से संवाद किया
उन्होंने पीड़ितों और दाताओं को यह कहकर धोखा दिया कि उनका पैसा पहले ही जमा कर दिया गया है लेकिन उन्हें अपने खाते में भुगतान स्थानांतरित करने से पहले जमा राशि का 30 प्रतिशत देना आवश्यक है
पुलिस ने पीड़ितों से आगे आकर शिकायत दर्ज कराने की अपील की है

According to police the accused created fake websites of reputed hospitals in Bengaluru and targeted both kidney donors and recipients The arrested persons were identified as Mimi a.k.a Miracle Kowa Collins both from Nigeria and Mathew Innocent from Ghana
The accused persons had created a fake website of Sagar Hospital in Bengaluru and were fishing for kidney donors or recipients The hospital authorities had lodged a complaint with Cyber Economic and Narcotics Crime (CEN) Police station of HSR Layout in this regard The sleuths who took up the investigation arrested the accused from an apartment in Amrutalli locality
